Tucked away, kind of in the middle of nowhere on the west side of Milwaukee, is a little place called Story Hill BKC. The name sounds magical, and dear reader, this place is. It’s quiet, it’s quaint, and it’s attached to a liquor store that has a seriously impressive selection. The BKC in the name stands for “Bottle, Kitchen, Cocktail.” Sounds like my kind of place.
Again, we are on the topic of small plates, and again, New American small plates. Their menu is diverse, though, and boasts unique dishes that change often. The service was great, the food was beautiful and delicious, and a touch I personally enjoyed is that the small kitchen is part of their open floor plan so you can see the chefs performing their art.
My experience here was enough to immediately push Story Hill BKC into the list of my favorites here in Milwaukee. I can’t wait to come back again… and again.
